NAYER SHOW: THE EARLY YEARS. This DVD was written, directed and
produced by THE BILLY NAYER SHOW. And features the band's achievements
prior to the release of their critically acclaimed, internationally

BILLY NAYER (animated short) -1990
A man in a bar sings in this 2 1/2 min. micro-musical. Hand painted
with house paint on paper. Premiered at 1993 Sundance Film Festival.
Aired on PBS and The Sundance Channel. Featured in the 24th Annual
Tournee of Animation. Awarded Best Short Film in the 1993 USA film
Festival.
THE MAN ON THE MOON -1992
A dejected husband exiles himself to the moon with his cat and sends
back transmissions to Earth on holidays. The moon "is a lonely town"
in this 20 min. Pixel Vision musical. Featured at 1995 Sundance
Film Festival and the Euro Underground Fall Tour of 1997.
THE KETCHUP AND MUSTARD MAN -1994
A battle between story-telling and stream-of-consciousness ensues
in this half hour, black comedy musical. Featured in 1995 Sundance
Film Festival. Awarded Best Short Film at 1995 Chicago Underground
Film Festival.
LIVE BOOTLEG FOOTAGE -1992
A high energy Bootleg of an early Billy Nayer Show performance in
San Francisco, CA. Captured on VHS.
LIVE FOOTAGE -2002
The Billy Nayer Show's Cory McAbee performs solo renditions of Early
BNS material in Birmingham, Alabama. Beautifully shot in-house
footage.
MUST BE SANTA (7 inch vinyl) -1995
This rendition of, "MUST BE SANTA" was featured in the 1992 BNS
film, THE MAN ON THE MOON. This limited addition 7 inch was created
to meet a growing demand caused by the film. The B Side features
music from an unreleased BNS animated short entitled, THE EXPLAINATION
THEATRICAL TRAILER -2000
Months before BNS's first feature film, THE AMERICAN ASTRONAUT was
released, a theatrical trailer was put into circulation. It gained
a great deal of notoriety on it's own.
